TERMS OF USE (version 2)
Publisher: MWL Applications. Contact: [email protected].
DRAFT - not yet reviewed by a lawyer. The publisher's postal address and governing law are still to be added by the owner. Do not treat this as final.
1. Who can play. You must be 18 or older.
2. What this is. A fictional quick-draw duel game. Characters, crews and places are invented. It depicts stylised gun violence.
3. Your account. You can play practice with no account. Online play creates a guest identity stored on our server and tied to this device. You may link an email address so progress can be recovered. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Conduct. You agree to the Community Rules. We may reset names, restrict matchmaking, or close accounts that break them.
5. Fairness. Online results are decided by our match server from when it receives your input, with a bounded allowance for connection delay. Very close finishes are replayed rather than awarded. Timing shown in the game is an in-game estimate, not a laboratory measurement. We do not promise that the game is free of cheating or that every result is perfectly fair.
6. Virtual items and in-game cash. Outfits, firearms, finishes, titles and reputation are cosmetic, have no cash value, cannot be traded or cashed out, and never change how the duel plays. In-game cash is earned only by playing, is never sold for real money and can never be cashed out. Two players may stake the same amount of in-game cash on a Friend Duel; the winner receives both stakes less a fixed house cut, and a draw, an abort or a match that never starts returns every stake. This version sells nothing.
7. Availability. The service may be interrupted, changed or ended. Matches cut short by a server problem are cancelled without a win or a loss.
8. Deleting your account. You can delete your account in Settings, or through the web page listed in the store entry. See the Privacy text for what is removed.
9. Changes. If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be asked to accept the new version before playing online.
